As many of you know, in January 2008 atroplló us a car to Martha and me. Marta had several bruises, but no fracture.
I, more cool, I was left with a fractured my left tibia.
That month, January 2008, I put a nail fastened with two screws. About five months later and gave me the high end, and could return to work.
Until this month I have been the nail in my leg, with the risk that entails.
one hand, any infection can stay in the nail, which I would have to perform emergency surgery. On the other hand, any new accident to have, could provoke a terrible injury. No forget that I drive my car, so the risk of injury is present every day.
therefore wanted to rid the nail of the leg. Day 6 of this month I had surgery to remove the nail. One day entered Remei Clinic, and Household.
for home with bandaged leg to mid thigh. For two days apart of filters scar hurt me and it itched. Then calm. Could get out of the chair or bed without pricking pain. That if, on crutches forever.
The next week I took off the bandage, and the following staples. The wound is almost healed, and I can bend the knee without discomfort (well, a few persons yes).
In summary. Now I have not the nail in the leg, just bone.
Within six months I will make the final radiograph, and if there is nothing strange doctors forget about me, hehe. And I appreciate it. :-)
