Saturday, March 27, 2010, at 6:30 in the morning, my mother died after a month and a half on the hospital for a stroke. He was 81. was doing well in stroke. Slowly, but fine. But this week something that was swallowed into the lungs and caused her infection.
Despite all antibiotics put it, the infection could be with her and left this world today.
was the best mother in the world.

How To Beat An Alcohol Monitoring Bracelet
Seeking advice on nursing homes. In Barcelona.
I have to enter my mother in about two months, and I want to go to a place where being well cared for, since it itself can not use.
The Pere Virgili social worker gave me a list of residences that go looking, but do not look exactly why.
Pensad que estamos hablando de una persona con gran dependencia, que no puede hablar, que sólo mueve el brazo izquierdo y la pierna izquierda, que no ve por el ojo derecho y por tanto que no puede quejarse.
A parte del precio (un factor importante para no acabar en la ruina) me interesa conocer otros factores que influyen en la calidad de una residencia. O dejo libertad absoluta para que me comenteis lo que considereis oportuno.

Today my mother have moved to the Vall d'Hebron to Pere Virgili (former Military Hospital). In principle this would be two or three months to see how it evolves and what consequences are. Then, depending on its consequences, will decide where to move it.
Doctors are clear. The fallout will be significant and will need care 24 hours a day. Therefore, it seems the only option is going to be a nursing home.
the moment is entered and not get out of bed. The doctor has said that he prefers to wait because you can still develop infections, and it is better to wait for it to stabilize at all.
then begin for sitting in a chair. And then rehabilitation. There you'll see what functionality is able to recover and what consequences remain.

Last 17 / 2 my mother suffered a stroke. He has spent a week in the hospital and has changed little.
Today doctors have been very clear with me. Soon going to improve.
now have to feed the probe, because it refuses to eat (the mouth tightly closed.) With the only hand that works (left) tries to remove the probe, so we have to tie the arm to the bed. By day we can still be outstanding de ella, pero de noche hay que atarla.
Con lo que se movía mi madre, ésto debe ser la peor tortura a la que podían someterla. Quizás con el paso de los meses vea yo las cosas distintas, pero ahora mismo, preferiria que hubiese muerto a verla en ese estado.
Es muy duro.

Este viernes volvía para casa por una calle barcelonesa con poco tráfico. Dos carriles en cada sentido. Varios semáforos. Algún que otro paso de peatones.
Yo iba por el carril más externo, en mi sentido. Iba a girar a la izquierda, y ya me había situado en the proper lane for that money.
For me, on the contrary, Sean Leo spent a fuck out (literally). "Too fast? Inappropriate? Speeding? I have no idea. My perception of its speed (and the fact that air moved left behind my car) would make me assume that well over 50 km / h. Fact 2
This summer renting a Volkswagen Golf for your holidays in Galicia. As you know, I have a Civic a tad old to not have air conditioning, then renting a car.
As was the instruction manual of the car, I read it. One of the things explained, although I do not remember all the details, is that if you go to a certain speed and nailed brakes, the wheels do not lock because ABS prevents it.
But also so hard to stop the car supposed to be an emergency stop. Put another way, think you're braking with great intensity because there is an obstacle in front of you.
may not be able to prevent the collision of your car, but you can warn other drivers that do not hit you. Therefore, the Golf, with emergency braking, also activating the ABS, turns on warnings (the four indicators). Acts
mixed Friday
The Lion happened he had to decline sharply su velocidad porque se le puso en rojo un semáforo. Por el retrovisor pude ver cómo se le activaban los cuatro intermitentes.
Epílogo
Lo anterior no significa que el León fuera a velocidad excesiva, pero si que iba a una velocidad claramente inadecuada. Tuvo que recurrir a una frenada de emergencia para no saltarse un semáforo en rojo.
